The Ströher Collection

Fifteen rooms of the MKM, totalling about 2,500 square metres in area, are devoted to a memorable presentation of key works from the Ströher Collection. The works on view provide insights into the oeuvres of influential German artists since the 1950s, with an emphasis on painting.


The presentation offers a unique opportunity to compare diverse individual approaches to art. A range of works from various decades in the careers of numerous artists – e.g. Georg Baselitz – are on view.
